Portola Elementary Parent-Teacher Association (PTA) supports the entire Portola community, providing funding and human-power to support numerous programs and events that enrich our school environment. Our Portola Elementary PTA includes parents, teachers, staff, and family & friends and is led by an elected Executive Board. Without the support of the PTA, many of our fantastic programs would not exist. We thank you for your commitment in engaging with the Portola community. May 1, 2024 - Reminder - Staff and Teacher Appreciation Week starts next week! Here are the details for each day:
Monday, May 6
Uplift your favorite teachers and staff with VIP awards to celebrate their awesomeness. These special certificates will be printed and displayed around the school for all to see. Fill out this form by 5/3.
Tuesday, May 7
Make someone smile today. Give your teacher or staff a special note or drawing about your favorite memory or something kind they did for you.
Wednesday, May 8
We’re rolling out the red carpet! Have your student high five any teacher or staff they see in the hallways all day long!
Thursday, May 9
It’s VIP Luncheon Day! Drop off a delicious treat for the teachers and staff to enjoy in the Staff Lounge. Sign up here!
Friday, May 10

November 1, 2023 - Now that our annual Mike Casey’s Sweeney Ridge Hike-A-Thon has come to a close, we’re thrilled to announce that we’ve exceeded the goal we set for this fundraiser! The funds raised will go towards academic tools, teacher and staff training, and educational enrichment programs such as field trips, outdoor education, and much more.
